The Streetlight Telecommunications Program manages telecommunications’ and wireless companies’ legal right to access “vertical infrastructure” in communities’ public right-of-way for wireless infrastructure. In MGSA’s case, that applies to only those streetlights the Authority owns. MGSA has entered into a number of Streetlight Master License Agreements (“SMLA”). The SMLA does NOT authorize any specific installation of facilities. Instead, the SMLA sets forth the general terms and conditions applicable to such future installations that may be approved by local Marin jurisdictions and establishes the process and requirements that the MGSA will follow.
